SYNERGY

Description

We continued in collaboration with the designer Pavol Sajták (which we started during development of the new full-suspension FSX carbon frames in 2010, i.e. the A-RAY and ERA 2011) when designing a new second generation carbon frame for cross bicycles - the AVION and SYNERGY 2012 models. The frame optically resembles full carbon frames which represented our first joint project. The bend in the top section of the frame is noticeable and the top tube smoothly merges into the seat stay. Thus it resembles a shape of a bow. It does not only have a distinctive sloping and an interesting design, but it adds more rigidity to the front triangle, too. The cross frame carries some of the design features of the 29" carbon frame for the year 2011. It especially concerns the direct Post Mount (PM) integrated into the chain stay for installation of the 6" disc brake rotor, the central bushing 73 mm wide and the conical head tube compatible with the expanded 1.5" tapered fork column. Once again, we used the so-called ICR (Inner Cable Routing) for both derailleurs and the rear hydraulic break in the SYNERGY model.
